Welcome to Paper Inkspirations!

Hi! My name is Krissy, welcome to my blog. I have been an avid paper-crafter for many years, my addiction started with scrapbooking and has evolved to card-making. It all started when I realized that I had forgotten to buy a card for my nephew's birthday. Looking at my ever-expanding collection of scrapbook supplies, I thought I'd made a card for him. Since then, I've been hooked on card-making and my scrapbooks have been collecting dust. Someday I'll get back to them... I have two beautiful boys and a wonderful & supportive husband and I work at the Preschool at our church. When I'm not spending time with my family or making cards, I enjoy being active in our church. Life is good! Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoy your visit.

Take time to get inky today....

Stampendous & Clear Scraps Blog Hop

Today is the day for the Stampendous/Clear Scraps Blog Hop!  I can hardly wait to see what everyone has created!  Before I show you my project, I want to thank Stampendous, Clear Scraps and Tsukineko for providing such wonderful products to work with.  They have been very generous and it is much appreciated!

As you hop along with us, be sure to leave a little love on each post, share the posts from the Stampendous Facebook page and comment on the Clear Scraps blog.  There are some great prizes up for grabs, and you don't want to miss a chance to win!  Check out this post for details.

For my project, I decided to keep it simple.  I used one of the pages from the Clear Scraps Sassy Album and created a dry erase memo board.  Tsukineko StazOn inks are perfect to use on acrylic.  I stamped the flourish from the Stampendous Jumbo Dahlia stamp set with StazOn Royal Purple ink.  When the ink was dry, I added a few rhinestones to "bling" it up a bit.  The patterned paper is adhered to the backside of the acrylic so this way I can write on the acrylic with a dry erase marker.

Here's a list of the gals that are "hopping" today - be sure to check them all out and leave 'em a little love!

Take time to get inky today and what are you waiting for?  It's time for you to get hoppin'!

Wow--this may be my favorite project--love it! What adhesive did you use to attach the patterned paper? (sghess4451@comcast.net)
