Welcome to Paper Inkspirations!

Hi! My name is Krissy, welcome to my blog. I have been an avid paper-crafter for many years, my addiction started with scrapbooking and has evolved to card-making. It all started when I realized that I had forgotten to buy a card for my nephew's birthday. Looking at my ever-expanding collection of scrapbook supplies, I thought I'd made a card for him. Since then, I've been hooked on card-making and my scrapbooks have been collecting dust. Someday I'll get back to them... I have two beautiful boys and a wonderful & supportive husband and I work at the Preschool at our church. When I'm not spending time with my family or making cards, I enjoy being active in our church. Life is good! Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoy your visit.

Take time to get inky today....

Just Flying By.....

Hi!  Remember me?  It's been so long since I have posted anything.  I'm still adjusting to the kids being back in school and new schedules.  I honestly don't know what's taking me so long.  I need to get organized and get busy stamping!  I've missed it!

I finally got busy yesterday and popped out this card for this week's Stampendous Saturday Sketch Challenge.  This week there was not a sketch to follow, but rather a "recipe".  We were to create cards using ribbon, the color black and some sort of bling.  How fun!  That recipe just screamed "HALLOWEEN CARD!" to me.  So off I went.  I won this cute little stamp (Mini Witch Shoes) from a previous Sketch Challenge.  I decided the witch that wears these shoes must be a pretty ritzy gal, and gave her blinged-out shoes.

If you have a chance, check out this week's Challenge, and see what you can create.  It's a lot of fun - and if your card is chosen as one of this week's winners, you could win wonderful Stampendous stamps (great incentive!)

recipe:  stamps:  Stampendous Mini Witch Shoes, Hero Arts Happy Halloween; DCWV Glitter Mat Stack, The Paper Co.; Crystal Stickles; Tsukineko Tuxedo Black Ink, Persimmon ink; Prismacolor Pencils, Goo-Gone, Tortillons; JoAnn's Ribbon
