Hi! My name is Krissy, welcome to my blog. I have been an avid paper-crafter for many years, my addiction started with scrapbooking and has evolved to card-making. It all started when I realized that I had forgotten to buy a card for my nephew's birthday. Looking at my ever-expanding collection of scrapbook supplies, I thought I'd made a card for him. Since then, I've been hooked on card-making and my scrapbooks have been collecting dust. Someday I'll get back to them... I have two beautiful boys and a wonderful & supportive husband and I work at the Preschool at our church. Fun with Faber-Castell

This week the Stampendous Design Team received some great products from Faber-Castell to play with. They were so generous! Today was the first time I have used Gelatos and I can tell you it won't be my last! The color goes on really nice and blends beautifully!

Here's the card that I created...

I first stamped this Live Creatively stamp by Stampendous with VersaMark ink and heat embossed with Stampendous Detail White Embossing Powder. This is where the magic begins...I applied the Gelatos from the red set in vertical stripes across my embossed panel and then blended them with my fingers and wiped the excess of with a baby wipe to expose the embossing. Doesn't get much easier than that!

I love the ombre effect! Now I need to go shopping to get some other color collections!
