Welcome to Paper Inkspirations!

Hi! My name is Krissy, welcome to my blog. I have been an avid paper-crafter for many years, my addiction started with scrapbooking and has evolved to card-making. It all started when I realized that I had forgotten to buy a card for my nephew's birthday. Looking at my ever-expanding collection of scrapbook supplies, I thought I'd made a card for him. Since then, I've been hooked on card-making and my scrapbooks have been collecting dust. Someday I'll get back to them... I have two beautiful boys and a wonderful & supportive husband and I work at the Preschool at our church. When I'm not spending time with my family or making cards, I enjoy being active in our church. Life is good! Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoy your visit.

Take time to get inky today....

From the Bottom o' Me Heart....Thank You!

Our oldest son, TJ, celebrated his 6th birthday on March 12th (where did the time go?). He decided that his family birthday dinner should have a St. Patrick's Day theme. So, we ate corned beef, cabbage, red potatoes & carrots and I made homemade cloverleaf dinner rolls and ribbon jello with green, white and orange layers to mimic the flag of Ireland. He was thrilled! So, to go with the theme of his party, I decided to make St. Patrick's Day thank you notes for him, too. I just can't get enough of litte Changito the monkey. He's perfect for just about every occasion, if you ask me!
I had two versions of his thank you notes, so take a look at both of them. If I were to make them again, I would stamp the image with black ink, so it would stand out more.

recipe: paper: The Paper Co., DCWV Christmas Mat Stack; stamps: Stampendous Changito Shamrock; ink: Tsukineko Graphite Black, Pesto, Coffee Bean; Prismacolor Pencils, Goo-Gone, Tortillons; Sakura Star Gel Pen; Fiskars Scalloped border punch; Marvy Scalloped oval Punch
