Welcome to Paper Inkspirations!

Hi! My name is Krissy, welcome to my blog. I have been an avid paper-crafter for many years, my addiction started with scrapbooking and has evolved to card-making. It all started when I realized that I had forgotten to buy a card for my nephew's birthday. Looking at my ever-expanding collection of scrapbook supplies, I thought I'd made a card for him. Since then, I've been hooked on card-making and my scrapbooks have been collecting dust. Someday I'll get back to them... I have two beautiful boys and a wonderful & supportive husband and I work at the Preschool at our church. When I'm not spending time with my family or making cards, I enjoy being active in our church. Life is good! Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoy your visit.

Take time to get inky today....

Love Bud

Attention Germs:  GO AWAY!!!!  That is all.  Thank you!
Ugh!  What a week!  It started with me getting the flu Sunday/Monday (you don't want details, trust me!)  then my little guy got it Monday & Tuesday. On Tuesday my oldest just didn't seem right, but insisted that he could go to school...so off he went.  He came home after school and looked like something the cat had dragged in (if we had a cat).  So he stayed home Wednesday, Thursday and today.  Funny thing is, though, he has something totally different from what his brother and I had.  Something is definitely going around our area, I had an email from his teacher this morning, saying that 12 of the 23 kids in his class were absent yesterday - plus the teacher!  So.....to all you germs out there....consider yourself warned...this Mommy is not happy!
Now back to our previously scheduled programming...

I love this little guy!  He's from the uber-cute Stampendous Love Buds stamp set.  How cute is he?  There's a sweet little gal in the set too, but I have to admit, with 2 little boys I don't get her inky very often.  This was the thank you note I made for my youngest son's birthday gifts.  It was really easy to put together, using LunarLana's method of background paper piecing found here.  I'll be doing this again!  How fun!  And by the way, if you've never checked out Lana's blog, you are in for a treat!

Thought while I'm at it, I'd also tell you that I used this stamp set for Teacher's Appreciation gifts last year, too.  I decorated a pack of chewing gum using this little man.  On the heart I handwrote "I chews you".

Ok, gotta run!  Hope you're having a good day and staying warm....it's chilly in our neck of the woods!  Brrrrrr!

Take time to get inky today!
