Welcome to Paper Inkspirations!

Hi! My name is Krissy, welcome to my blog. I have been an avid paper-crafter for many years, my addiction started with scrapbooking and has evolved to card-making. It all started when I realized that I had forgotten to buy a card for my nephew's birthday. Looking at my ever-expanding collection of scrapbook supplies, I thought I'd made a card for him. Since then, I've been hooked on card-making and my scrapbooks have been collecting dust. Someday I'll get back to them... I have two beautiful boys and a wonderful & supportive husband and I work at the Preschool at our church. When I'm not spending time with my family or making cards, I enjoy being active in our church. Life is good! Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoy your visit.

Take time to get inky today....

Summer Fun with Stampendous and Dreamweaver

This week the Stampendous Design Team is combining goodies from Dreamweaver Stencils with Stampendous goodies!  What fun!  We'll be playing together all of this week, with a fabulous hop on Friday, August 2nd, featuring a slew of amazing talent from both teams, and of course...prizes!!!

Two prize packages will be given away for the comments left on posts Monday-Thursday, July 29th - August 1st, and one prize will be given away for comments left on the hop day, Friday, August 2nd. Winners will be selected randomly and announced Thursday, August 8th. (Note: USA addresses only, please, due to shipping costs.) Here's what you could win:

Are you ready to see what I've created?  I just can't get enough of this little Surfer Kiddo!  Isn't he so stinkin' cute?!?  I added a sentiment from the Soaring Sentiments set.  I tried the Double Glitter technique for the background using the Dreamweaver Waves Stencil and Blue Ultra Fine Glitter and Multi Ultra Fine Crystal Glitter.  What a fun technique, but I have to tell you I looked like I had been visited by Tinkerbell when I was done!  I had glitter all over me, but no one ever accused me of being a neat crafter! The Surfer Kiddo was colored with Spectrum Noir markers and "fussy cut".  I tore some kraft card stock to make the sand and added some more glitter.

Now it's time to check out the other blog posts for today.  I'm sure you're in for some summer lovin'!  Don't forget to leave a comment in order to be eligible for the prize package.  AND.....come back on Friday for the big Stampendous/ Dreamweaver Blog Hop.

Here's a list of who's playing along today....
Krissy Fossmeyer  - that's me!

Time for me to get movin'!  It's a busy week for our family - it's County Fair week and our oldest is a first year 4-Her.  Yesterday he won a blue ribbon for Collections and today he has judging for Cooking 101.  So, it's time for us to head up to the fairgrounds.  Hope all is well in your corner of the world.

Take time to get inky today!

So super sweet, Krissy! This little dude can come surfing on my beach any day he wants! Now, if you came to California and brought those boys surfing, we could make some scrapbook pages!
