Welcome to Paper Inkspirations!

Hi! My name is Krissy, welcome to my blog. I have been an avid paper-crafter for many years, my addiction started with scrapbooking and has evolved to card-making. It all started when I realized that I had forgotten to buy a card for my nephew's birthday. Looking at my ever-expanding collection of scrapbook supplies, I thought I'd made a card for him. Since then, I've been hooked on card-making and my scrapbooks have been collecting dust. Someday I'll get back to them... I have two beautiful boys and a wonderful & supportive husband and I work at the Preschool at our church. When I'm not spending time with my family or making cards, I enjoy being active in our church. Life is good! Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoy your visit.

Take time to get inky today....

Happy Birthday!

Can you believe that my brother and brother-in-law both have the same birthday?  What are the chances of that?  They both celebrated their big days on April 1st (but neither of them are fools!)  This is the card that I made for them.  I love the ribbons on this Stampendous! gift package - it was fun to accentuate them with Ultra Fine Crystal Glitter and a little bit of green bling.

This Party Invite stamp set from Stampendous is really versatile and can be used for just about anyone's birthday.  I find myself reaching for it often.

Well, friends, time for me to skedaddle.  Hope you're having a great day and that you take time to get inky today!

recipe:  stamps:  Stampendous Party Invite Perfectly Clear; paper:  The Paper Co kraft, white, DCWV Citrus Matstack; ink:  Tsukineko Tuxedo Black; Prismacolor Pencils, Goo-Gone, Tortillons; Sakura Glue Pen; Marvy Punches, Me & My Big Ideas bling; Stampendous Crystal Ultra Fine Glitter
